Hearts United was founded on the pressing need to break down barriers to lifesaving education. Guided by Cathy, a registered nurse with over 25 years of experience in local and international healthcare, our nonprofit stands on a foundation of compassion, expertise, and lived experience. We offer free, practical CPR, first aid, and AED training for everyone - especially caregivers and low-income families - because in an emergency, knowing what to do can be the difference between loss and hope. Our work extends to supporting CNA education through merit-based scholarships, helping community members build stable careers and lift the entire community's quality of care. Every initiative nurtures a safer, healthier, and more empowered McLean County.
